Practical Meditation. As the name implies, this is a website devoted to information about the practical benefits of the practice of meditation. Many people have the (mis)perception that meditation is only for overly spiritual people, hippies, monks, etc. while in reality meditation has been irrefutably, scientifically proven to have a lasting, positive impact on both mental and physical health. Anyone can benefit from meditation, and it’s tragic that so many people never try meditating because they think they aren’t the right type of person for it. Literally anyone can benefit from a regular meditation practice, and in only a few minutes a day it is possible to notice dramatic positive changes. Our goal is to provide knowledge, inspiration, and practical advice for those who are new to meditation and those who meditate regularly.
